RentalCars.com has some great deals, but renting a car in Maui is the best way to really experience the island. You can also fly to Honolulu International Airport (HNL) and take a half-hour shuttle flight to Maui. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters offers guided helicopter tours to visit some of the attractions of the sprawling national park. Pearl Harbor Tours offers a variety of guided and self-guided day trips, including a day trip to Waikiki and a two-day tour to Kailua-Kona. To get around, you can also fly to O'ahu for a guided tour, or you can even take a one-way ticket to Kauai or Oahu.

Ziplining is a fun way to experience the diverse landscapes and views of Maui from the top of a mountain or even from a boat on the shores of Hawaii's Big Island.

If outdoor adventure is your top priority, then the best places to visit on Maui are probably the snorkeling spots on Big Island and the scenic beaches of the Waikiki region.

Besides good snorkeling, a boat trip to the craters offers wonderful views of Maui and there are some great dive sites. With some amazing scuba spots sitting just off the coast from your condo or condo, some of the Mau I sc diving is worth it. After your Maui adventure, you deserve to relax at one of the island's top spas. I recommend MauI Ocean Treasures, which is just a few blocks from the beach in Waikiki City, or Swap Island Spa.

One of the best things you can do with your kids on Maui is Road to Hana, and I bet it's never going to be as much fun as it is, but you'll see what I mean. If you are looking for a free thing to do in Maui, all you need is an adult to accompany you or children under 12 years of age, then it is a must - do. There are many free activities in and around Mau i Hawaii, we just didn't know about them all. One of my favorite things to do in Hawaii is to do things with the kids.
