The month - the long Festival of Aloha takes place in October, with numerous events that honor and share the culture and traditions of the Hawaiian Natives. This year it will be held on Kauai, Oahu, Molokai and Maui, and on the Hawaiian islands of Hawaii.
At 8 pm there will be a spectacular aerial fireworks display over the sea in front of Lahaina. Heavenly Cinema is fantastic and will take place on the evening of 31 October 2017 in the Kailua-Kona Public Library.
If you would like to hike and learn more about Maui, you can register for a free guided tour of the Nuau Refuge, which will take place on the evening of October 31, 2017 at the Kailua - Kona Public Library. Hawaiian and Polynesian ancestors, and can share the ingenuity and incredible skills they have given us in the field of instruments and navigation under the stars. This annual, day-long and long-term event helps raise awareness of Hawaii's agricultural products and includes a variety of food and beverage vendors, food trucks and live entertainment.
Town festivals sponsored by Maui County take place every Friday night in various cities on the island. This annual event takes place on Saturday, June 11, 2017, at the Kapalua Convention Center and there is always a variety of food trucks, food vendors, live entertainment and a tree lighting ceremony. Maua'i Winery's ranch is getting into the action with its annual Maui Wine & Food Festival at the Ritz - Carlton's beautiful Kapalua resort. There is live music, a food truck show, wine tastings and more, as well as a silent auction.
Visit Cultural Connections for a hula performance and Mo'olelo stories presented by the Story of Hawaii Museum at the Mall. This is an excellent resource to visit for more information about Maui's cultural heritage and events.

Celebrating the Pacific Islands' maritime heritage, this event includes canoeing, kayaking, sailing, canoeing and a variety of other activities. This is definitely an event to plan your trip to Maui, and this fundraiser is the right place to go. The fundraiser has been held every second Saturday of the month at the Kihei Civic Center for 30 years. The Kona brewery, with its award-winning beer, was added last year.
